The new extension (not done by us) has top of the range light timber look wide laminate boards. The middle section is very yellowed cypress pine and tile and the top in newer stained pine.. all the stairs are the old cypress. I want to unify the house and in the past I’d be loathe to cover timber BUT the laminate is quite nice and much lighter. Do I laminate over the pine or do I rip up the laminate and refinish and white wash the whole house?
