I have also read that Wood tile floor and Porcelain floors are hard on back feet and joints. HELP!! Need to give my floors a contemporary look!

As Michelle said above, solid cork floors would have a lesser likelihood of getting scratched as compared to the click lock ones as they have gaps in the middle which dogs can easily tear. I hate to break you the truth but do not expect unscratched floors with any time of hardwood, let alone cork.
