Except a floating floor, that's different. No skirting's on - carpet, tiles or vinyl. Maybe if the house is timber framed Michelle ( and even then it's not recommended ) but if the house is all brick walls you need to leave an 8-10mm gap from the tiles to the brick wall to allow for movement. Filling it with grout or mortar is a no-no. That's where skirting or some other beading is used to hide the gap. Stewie I ended up refusing him to pay to fix HIS mistake.
