Dark or Light grout?

Having trouble choosing what color Grout to get.

Here is our Tiles. The polished finish will be the main tile throughout the house and the matt tile will be in the shower floors and alfresco.

Was thinking of going the darker grout as it blends with the tile more for the main tile and the lighter color for Matt tiles. Or maybe even just 1 color the light or the dark.

Anyone got similar color tiles or know what works best?

I prefer the darker for both, from your photos it blends better. In the first photo I see the tiles rather than the grout colour. In the second photo the lighter grout really draws my attention and I would want the grout to disappear. Also, I think the darker one would show less dirt.

I second the darker grout.

We have a grey concrete tile in our bathroom and went a dark grey coloured grout. Looks great.

I would go dark as well. Trying to blend the grout colour to match the tile makes rooms look larger too.

Being a cleaner I can say that the darker grout would be beneficial
If you had the lighter grout and the main traffic flow area will end up darker than the lighter colour

If were you, I would go for the darker grout as they will match both the tiles. They are also easier to maintain than lighter coloured grout.

I gotta go against everyone's advice and suggest the lighter grout.

My wife and I just selected our tiles which look almost the same as yours. Our tiles have a rectified edge which means very little grout, and to me your tiles look the same. It was suggested to us to go a grout that isn't too close in colour to the tiles, because the tiles will already be laid very close to each other and with grout that's the same colour, it could end up very closely looking like just one big sheet.

Lighter color for me !! what are the names of the tiles ? :-)
