I have been looking at "Nova Brown" and "Nova Grey"... Thanks in advance. When it first launched, Vintage was a standard sized length and 12mm thick. Due to its success, the range was made into two new and improved ranges. The first is Vintage (version 2) with more colours such as the Nova colours and it is standard length and standard thickness (8mm). The second is Classica which is extra long and extra wide and is 12mm thick. Hope that helps !! Re: Vintage Laminate - a sneak peek ! 56Feb 02, 2014 8:42 pm thanks HN I managed to pick up a sample of the Nova Brown today so that I can take it along to colour appointments etc. Re: Vintage Laminate - a sneak peek ! 57Feb 10, 2014 8:59 am Hey HN team -- just a quick question. If we want to get the smartstrand carpet (or any carpet really) and the vintage floorboards, when laid will they be on the same level or do we need to allow for it in some other manner? (Also asking as we will have tiles in the bathroom and want to ensure that is at the same level if not lower -- than the main areas) Thanks! Thanks for the questions, The best thing to do is measure the height of your tiles and then visit your local HN franchisee to discuss. The reason is that whilst Vintage will be 10 to 11mm installed, your carpet will vary greatly depending on which Smartstrand carpet and underlay combination you go for. As a general rule though, you'd be looking at at least twice the laminate in height, maybe more if you go for a thicker carpet / underlay combo. This is not a worry and it's normal for carpet to sit higher and tuck down to laminate or tiles. Re: Vintage Laminate - a sneak peek ! 59Feb 21, 2014 2:26 pm HN Flooring Team Both come with lifetime wear warranties. What is the warranty on the Click loc system? Being that Vinyl is somewhat of a softer material, it's fair to say the click system is potentially going to wear out long before the wear layer has a chance to.... This is generally the biggest issue from what we've seen with click loc vinyl. This is generally the biggest issue from what we've seen with click loc vinyl. Yes , the standard of clicking vinyl in the market is terrible, suffice to say many major brands are being pulled from the marketplace as they are failing. As we sell Allure Lock, we have no such issues. Allure Lock was the first locking vinyl plank in the world and is still the best - it may be one of the last by the time all the fake / cheap knock offs are finally removed from sale. However, to address the laminate question, our products warranties cover both structural integrity and wear, so the clicking profile in our laminates is covered too. The Allure Locking planks have a lifetime wear and a lifetime structural warranty in domestic installations and 10 years in commercial installations.
