If you can't find anything, Ikea have some cheap ($5 translucent/$10 blockout) pleated blinds ("Schottis") that are just stick-on (don't need fastening/screws/nails). That's what we're currently using as temporary blinds, and they work pretty well for the price (will definitely be replacing with proper blinds once we've finished getting quotes, though).

Possibly - I'm not actually sure on that point in our case, but it could be a factor in some situations.
