Hi Krissy, I'd love to see some pics of your living and bathroom areas to give some suggestions. Plantation shutters http://www.homeblindsaustralia.com.au/plantation-shutters/ are all the rage at the moment, however as they are a more expensive option, venetians http://www.homeblindsaustralia.com.au/venetian-blindsare still very popular. For the living areas, roman blinds http://www.homeblindsaustralia.com.au/roman-blinds can be a real feature, even when their raised, as can panel glides http://www.homeblindsaustralia.com.au/panel-blinds if you have any sliding doors? Like I said, feel free to send through some photos if you'd like more specific advice for what would suit your house. Regards, Naomi Re: Blinds Suggestions 3May 22, 2015 4:24 pm Put some sheer curtains over the roller blinds. It reduces the natural light slightly with them closed but looks great paired with rollers and gives more options with the light coming in. In the bathroom shutters or venetians would look nice Re: Blinds Suggestions 4May 23, 2015 11:24 am Was going to suggest what xxkatxx has. I'm not a fan of roller blinds myself and think this is because I consider them commercial as they're in all thie offices I have worked in. For our bathrooms were going timber venetians. As much as I love shutters I think. They're pricey and awkward for cleaning in that you have to open them up and out like a door. In our lounge areas with large sliders we are having pin pleated sheers with block out curtains in behind them like in a hotel. Good luck with your choices!
