Browse Forums Window Furnishings 1 Dec 16, 2012 4:32 pm Hi, I've been looking at sheer curtains for a long time now, but until recently haven't found any that are suitable. We have 2 windows, 2 sets of sliding doors and a 4 leaf bifold. Because of the width of the bifold it's rare to find curtains wide enough to cover it. I found some I love at freedom and they come in different sizes which is perfect, but they are a concealed tab and I'm worried that they'll be a pain to pull across the doors every day. Is there a way of maybe putting a ring inside the tab so it'll slide across easily? Or another way to make them slide easily? Any suggestions will be appreciated! Re: Converting a tab top curtain, help! 3Feb 07, 2013 12:22 pm You can get standard tape with attached hooks and just sew it over the top of the concealed tabs. I do it all the time! A seamstress would be able to do it for you too. Spotlight and other fabric stores sell the curtain tape, along with the curtain hooks. Then you can hook the little curtain hooks onto the base of the curtain rod ring. Does that make sense?
