Hi
I also posted this in the windows and doors forum
They are only two years old and I like the colour but I hate that they are on a rail system that is visable.
We are currently renovating and will now view these curtains (which are in our formal sitting room) from the adjoining open plan kitchen/dining.
I love the look of timber rod and ring curtains but have been told by the local drapery people that the length of these (approx. 4m) makes this difficult.
I think pelmet's are a bit dated but think a pelmet would probably look better then what we have currently.
I have a lot of fabric left over from the curtains so could upholster the pelmet but would that look daggy?
Some background. We are using gyprock over the exposed brick (except the actual chimney) painting the exposed timber work in white with the walls antique white USA. We are also laying spotted gum timber floors.
The kitchen in the adjoining room will be a white on white kitchen with flat faced doors.
We will have new french doors and lots of windows in the adjoining room but at this stage we will not be putting up any blinds (we live on a farm so privacy is not an issue!)
Would love to hear your thoughts and any advice.
Thanks
