Both showers are actually hobless, but the one in the main bathroom has the shower screen but the one in our bathroom is a double walk in shower. There is a tiny step down into it and the drain is at the entry to the shower. (so you step over it to walk in) Re: our house - tonnes of pics 125Apr 17, 2011 10:27 pm howdy rizzo, just stumbled on your house, it looks amazing . . hope you're all settled in now Follow Feggle viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34992 Follow lilfeggle viewtopic.php?f=31&t=37149 Asbestosis Sux! You probably don't remember me but we are building at the moment and earlier when I was working on my plans, you popped into my thread with a quick suggestion of turning my kitchen around because I was having trouble getting it all to fit properly. The last few days we've been super excited to be able to walk through the house (its at frame stage now) and I JUST LOVE LOVE LOVE that the kitchen was switched around. It was such a simple idea and after many many hours working on my plan to get everything to fit, your suggestion just totally sealed the deal. So I'm just here to say a BIG thankyou! Also I really hope you're all well and truly settled in your beautiful new home. Re: our house - tonnes of pics 127Apr 30, 2011 11:12 pm Wow - your house is super impressive! So many things I Love! Thanks for posting all the pics - hope you are all settled in now Hope you don't mind ... i have some questions... I love the front door - how wide is it and did you need to upgrade or source it yourself? Great idea having the theatre lights on the wall with a dimmer. Did you have any lights on the ceiling also? Cheers!! We have decided to build again and am determined to get everything right this time Re: our house - tonnes of pics 128May 07, 2011 7:50 pm lilfeggle howdy rizzo, just stumbled on your house, it looks amazing . . hope you're all settled in now Thankyou, yes settled, but still plenty to finish off cheerupcharlie Hi Rizzo. Awww, thanks, I'm so happy that I could help and that you have something you absolutely love roseycheeks Wow - your house is super impressive! So many things I Love! Cheers!! We have decided to build again and am determined to get everything right this time Thankyou. The front door is a pivot door. It's a corinthian one. The original plans had double doors, but I don't think it cost us much if anything, to change to the pivot door. I can't remember the actual width of the top of my head, but there are a few threads if you search pivot door. Corinthian now make some pretty cool ones too. The theatre doesn't have any lights on the ceiling. The ones on the wall are bright enough when fully up. We were going to have a recessed ceiling in there with hidden rope lights in the recess, but the cost for one room that no one but us will see was just rediculous, so we kept it simple. Hope that helps. This is our 3rd build, and there is still things I don't have, but budget was a huge restriction, but all in all, we are pretty happy. Re: our house - tonnes of pics 129May 28, 2011 7:09 pm Rizzo any new up-date pict's,love to see! Backyard is pretty much done, so may take some soon, although, it's pretty boring. As for the tiles, I will have to see if I can dig out the tile selection sheet Re: our house - curtains one year later :) 131Sep 07, 2011 2:37 pm I haven't been in here for ages, but thought I'd post some shots of my new curtains. Excuse the really really bad phone pics, but the curtains aren't quite finished yet, so once they are, I will take some decent ones. There is still blockouts to go behind the sheers on the two end windows, but I am just having sheers on the middle one as it is sheltered from the alfresco. They are all sliding doors and I really wanted blinds, but as these are our air flow to the living area, I wanted to be able to have doors open without blinds banging, so curtains it was. Originally they were going to be on a decorator evo track, but it was all getting a little too expensive, so just went very basic tracks to keep cost down. They're lovely!!! our house - curtains one year later :) 140Sep 10, 2011 10:12 am WOW Rizzo they look sensational. I couldn't have imagined curtains making such a difference to a room but they give them a whole different feel. Very cozy and classy you've got me thinking now Your house roof does not show rusting other than some surface rust on the flashings. In my opinion you dont need to replace or paint the roof other than treat surface rust… 1 10216 have you used any of the motorised curtain systems available from Ebay?
