We're having the study at the front of the house, and they're the long length facade awning windows. I was planning to put shutters on these windows as I like the look, plus the ability to have some privacy and control light in and out. My vision was to have the desk under the window as on the floor plan also.
However I've only just realised that if I do this, there'll be no room to open the shutters to be able to open the windows.
The room is too narrow to have the desk in the middle of the room still facing the window, and the windows are too low to the floor to have bench seating with storage, to maximise that space.
Is there a way that I can still have shutters on the window, have the desk facing the window, and use the space effectively?
