The carpenter is laying the skirtings, and my lovely new floors are all scuffed and marked!!! I didn't ask him to take his shoes off due to health and safety reasons, but he is literally throwing the skirtings on the timber. Is it really too much to ask tradies respect your place?? Re: our house - And floorboards are done 85Nov 08, 2010 1:12 pm I don't think it is ![]() ![]() Could you cover the floors everywhere and just leave the narrow area close to the walls? Re: our house - And floorboards are done 86Nov 08, 2010 1:18 pm I could've, but I had no idea they were coming today until I got a phone call at 7am to ask me to let them in. Hopefully they are scuffs that come off easy. I'm sure we'll have plenty more with 3 young boys, but it would be nice if it was US that did it, and not someone else before we even move in! I'm sure you'll enjoy every moment of it. Your house roof does not show rusting other than some surface rust on the flashings. In my opinion you dont need to replace or paint the roof other than treat surface rust… 1 10874 ![]() 6 5684 "is it exempt or do I need to get permission from council" Call your Council and ask them 1 2312 ![]() |
