I’m looking at some internal shutters – my choices are the Newhaven (PVC) shutters from Boardwalk, or the aluminium shutters from ABC..
Pricing is quite similar, and I’m happy to pay the difference for the better product – what are the advantages/disadvantages of both?

The aluminum shelters may rust in the presence of moisture & may also dent over time. The plus for aluminum shelters would be their capacity of reflecting sunlight which keeps the inner area cool and the pricing which is lesser than the pricing involved for PVC shelters. PVC shelters are costly but looks elegant and are good in terms of durability.

I also suggest that aluminium shutters is better option because of high level of privacy that exterior aluminum shutters provide due to its opacity. It also keep out noise and light that may be disruptive for you which makes it great in the residential setting.
