It really depends on what types and the dimensions of the furniture you have? Please provide some details.

How many do you want to be able to seat at your dining table? Will there be a TV in the living room? Is the view out the sliding doors anything worth looking at? Are there just tiles? Is living room going to be for adults or kids or both?
Dining : I ll say 6 chairs
Yes ll be tv on the wall opposite to sliding door
