Browse Forums Soft Furnishings 1 Dec 19, 2013 4:53 pm So I bought these bar stools second hand and want to put a cushion on and cover. How would you do it? I have bought material and cushions (foam). Do I lay foam all the way across curve or do I do main part of seat and then another piece for the back? Do I cover just the cushion and put it on or pull all way under? Proving harder to work with the curve than I thought. See pics- curve is probably 8cm high. To fix it to the stool I would sew on extra fabric to the back so it basically slides on like a sock on the back sloped section. http://camdenbuild.blogspot.com.au/ by invite only please pm me Re: Upholstering a bar stool, HELP PLEASE! 3Dec 19, 2013 6:52 pm Thanks for your reply. I'm a bit of a novice at this. I can sew though. Made costumes for years. I would need about 1/2 inch to inch in height so how would I accommodate for this at the top of chair. I can't just sew it like a pillow case as seam will sit funny. I'm almost going to need to do another strip attached to top piece to give it depth iykwim The requirement is for a waterstop to be installed to the entries of the room, (a small aluminum 'L' angle to retain the water to within the room) can't see if they have… 1 10384 ![]() You need to locate those 2 manholes ( the black circles) and run a string line between them They may be covered in dirt or plants but do some hunting and you will… 1 6535 ![]() |
