Browse Forums Buying Land 1 May 23, 2020 5:12 pm Hi guys, I am looking at buying a house which has a concrete tunnel running in the backyard. I have enclosed the picture of it from the contract.Iam concerned about the concrete tunnel as I want to extend the house and build over it. Will there be any issues or restrictions in constructing over the concrete tunnels? Thanks for anyone who is able to offer some pointers about any issues that could arise or if the property is still worth pursuing as I do love the house. Stormwater ingress will be minimal and it's far better to have the top sitting flush rather… 12 6245 As most others have posted above the install isn't compliant. The pipe is meant to be covered in loose soil or sand, the pipe has holes in it that leaks out a termicide… 10 5727 Just get as close as you can without hitting the posts. Once you are close to the edge of the path the chance of cracking is minimised. 7 9177 |
