what was your contract date? Is it going to finish 2 years? There are developers using sunset clause to cancel contracts once the contract is past 2 years. Next door neighbor of verdant hill cancelled contracts.

Hi Clean,

I signed the COS in Dec 2016. But my conveyancer says that our sunset clause is on July 2018, more than 2 years.

So far, the land sales office say that Stage 1 titles are to be released in July/August.

Given the circumstances of Emerald Park, the neighbouring estate of Verdant Hill, would you think Verdant Hill is also affected with the pending approval of the external civil works?

I reckon that Emerald Park and Verdant Hill have the same power line and sewer. So if Emerald Park has still pending approval, it might be the same for Verdant Hill?

If you feel suspicious, form a group with other purchasers and start filing FOI applications to council, citywest water etc. To get infor under FOI Act it takes 2 to 4 months. You should be ready for anything.

Hi,

Mine has already been two years since I bought the land. As per their latest email, Stages & 2 titles will be released in March and Stages 3 & 4 in April.

Have you guys heard anything else?

Anyone having latest update on titlement of lots or if anyone is invited so far for the same? I visited site two weeks ago no earth work was going on and I was told by sales representative that they will be re-starting back soon and titlements will be given ASAP as per latest commnuication sent on e-mail.

mine is in Stage 6.

No, I haven't heard from them as well. I called today and same old crap - Stage 1 & 2 will be released in March 2019 and Stage 3 & 4 will be released in April 2019. They will release another update in 2 weeks time as per Hannah.

Has anyone tried refunding their deposits?

Yeah looks like no progress.

I bought in stage 5 and the wait is never ending.
I have no idea what they are up to :-/

Hi Shekhar . I am constantly in touch with verdant hill office and sunset clause is not too far . 15 March is final date . If verdant hill is not able to title the land and hat means we are victim of another land development scam . They can legally cancel the contract and refund the money like emerald park did .

Hi Shekhar . Mine is in stage 1 . Recent reply was whenever it will be ready we will let you know . Can not say for sure if It is going to happen . More approvals required at this stage . Hopeless hill 😰

I'm in Stage 4, bought in Dec 2016. Sunset clause is in July 2019. I haven't received any communication yet from them.

Has anyone received any update?
