We're thinking of purchasing a large (~1000sqm) battle axe block. The length of the battle axe is about 20m.
It's fairly level but it does have 2 distinct tiers/layers on the land. Our builder has said that we can either build on the top or the bottom tier, but not across the 'drop' as this will involve too much excavation.
Has anyone had experience with building on a battle axe block, and what the extra costs involved are?
In addition, there is a fair amount of rock on the ground underneath. What are the extra costs involved in building on rock?
Thank you kindly

Can you draw your proposed plan? I'm a little lost about how much room there is. Doesn't help that I'm using a tiny phone, which won't let me zoom in on the images. By…
