Hi,
I am looking to approach a farmer in Little River (Vic) and ask if he is willing to subdivide 5 acres off his land. I have an estimate of the cost of a house and am now trying to understand the cost to connect utilities (Water/Electricity. Sewerage I imagine will be through a septic tank).
I called the water/power companies but they said they can't give me an estimate of costs till I have an official lot number/address which won't exist till I actually go through the subdivision with the farmer and buy the land. I'm trying to understand rough ball park costs (i.e. is is $5,000, $15,000 or $50,000) but am not sure who to talk to next.
What do you all think? I thought maybe the local town planners. Any other folks?
