I have land with slope fall from back to the front of 3.22m with the depth of 27m on one side and 47m on the other. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I have been talking to custom builders and the house build project is getting well over my budget. I feel; if I do the site cut my self for the entire site and have retention wall will a lot cheaper. What you guys reckon, If I do the site cut myself - will the bulk builders build a home on land that is already site cut? How much would it cost me to cut a 611sqm land with retaining walls? Just a ballpark figure to get an idea. I would appreciate if someone can recommend me a guy who is good and reasonably priced for this task. Also, if I build a house on stumps, will the cost go down too much?
