Hi H1!
Back after half a decade 🎉
We are currently in the throws of purchasing a large subdivision in the Perth Hills and are wondering if we should be engaging a property solicitor to run over the title, plans and contract.
The property has two easements on it, both on the title, one for the power company and the other a driveway for right of way by the bottom owner who was unable to use the battleaxe for it due to the slope.
It also needs significant infrastructure for water mains and then site works... so a biiiig, heavy investment for us as purchasers.
Given the tricky nature of this block we feel a bit out of water with the legal side of it. We understand the easement burden and accept it but we do wonder if we are missing anything.
Thoughts?
