Slope land

Hi there. Is anyone here have slope land? Please give me some information regarding slop land, site cost etc. is it worth to buy slope land?

Thanks in advance
Hi Sahil,

If the land is slop land then it is called overflow land.

Overland flow is excess rainfall runoff from homes, driveways and other surfaces. Overland flow flooding is water that runs across the land after rain, either before it enters a creek or stream, after a creek or stream breaks its banks, or after rising to the surface naturally from underground. Overland flow flooding tends to affect localized areas rather than the whole city at once.

It really depends on how incline is you land.

You might have to do hydraulic assessment done which is performed by engineer and will cost you around $2000-$3000.

You might need retaining wall if you are building home on slab.

We bought a land that is little bit incline and had to do hydraulic assessment and have retaining wall. Hydraulic assesment cost use $2700 and retaining wall cost us around $6000.

Hope this helps.
