Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 663Apr 16, 2017 11:08 pm Might need to double check , Burbank said one of their clients plan was rejected by Cardinia council based on this guidelines for south siding..They said options are either split or refrigerated cooling Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 664Apr 17, 2017 8:25 pm ooooo, that would be few more grands to the house price, seriously don't like the split ones... And yes, been to south siding over weekend - looks like few last things to be done to keep it ready for title, happy with the progress so far.... Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 666Apr 17, 2017 8:34 pm When i went to visit, there still quite a few things to be done... foothpaths r yet to be constructed and lamp post needs to be fitted!! Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 668Apr 17, 2017 10:27 pm newbie11 Well, yes - if weather permits should be quick but again, this is all the hope we can have as this wait is becoming painful now... I dont think so it should take long now as stage one is already registered and title can happen anytime now!!! With winslow being incharge of stage 2. It should be soon enuf. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 669Apr 18, 2017 11:14 am My broker submitted my loan application today. Now I feel sick because it now feels real!!! Any word on stage 1 titles? We visited and walked through stage 1 over the weekend, stood on our block again. It looks like it's now at the point where stage 1 was when it seemed to all happen really quickly. I'm not sure about 'late May' titles as per our last conveyancer letter but surely it can't been much later than end of June? Let's see anyway.. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 670Apr 18, 2017 3:33 pm Wire fence no longer along the Highway so it's free to public for stage 1. Asphalt roller was on stage two waiting to do the final road layer before title. Sunny for the rest of the week so it will be interesting to see what happens. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 671Apr 18, 2017 4:25 pm Ting Ting Wire fence no longer along the Highway so it's free to public for stage 1. Asphalt roller was on stage two waiting to do the final road layer before title. Sunny for the rest of the week so it will be interesting to see what happens. That's really good news!!! And as puddlette said, it should not take until may to get titles even for stage 2. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 672Apr 18, 2017 8:34 pm Went for a walk and drive around stage 1 as it is open at all end. The roads are also level with the kirbs so no further work on them is need, The Asphalt looks flesh so they may have done it very recent. Houses should start coming up in stage 1 soon now that it's open. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 673Apr 19, 2017 1:08 pm They took advantage of nice sunny days. Large electrical box installed on Eades street. Cables are getting stretched from Potter Grove. Roads are getting done. Started Heathcote Grove, east end, all the way up to Primrose Ave and down Clara Drive. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 676Apr 20, 2017 1:24 pm Roads are done. When I checked an hour ago they reached Eades Street and Heathcote Grove at Potter Groves end. After today they will just measure all roads and see where they need to fill in and patch up. What’s left to do? My view on observation 1) All the various area’s they marked with orange flags. 2) Fibre cable if they need to stretch it through out stage 2 3) Street Lights 4) Footpaths and driveway 5) Level out the soil and land area. If they work with the same effort and days are good a Mid May to End May finish is a 95% chance. End April to Mid May finish is a 50% chance. Had enough of this land and now I need to get stuck into the house side of things. Good luck to all. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 677Apr 20, 2017 4:27 pm Has anyone heard about the "Community Infrastructure Levy" required by Cardinia Council.? My builder has asked for a receipt of Payment for the same. Been digging around and in some cases it's the land developer who pays for it. https://www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/info/20 ... -property- Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 678Apr 20, 2017 4:34 pm @cozmicparadox How did you manage to get the google maps image from the 8/3/2017? whenever I look at the Officer area in google maps the images appear to be from around December 2015.
