If weather remains stable and dry then there is no reason they can't get a lot done this week.. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 742May 01, 2017 7:55 am We went during weekend on primrose avenue side. Street lights are still on the ground. But i guess they hv worked on the roads since the last time I visited. I never go in to check. But i guess the things still left are finishing foothpaths, putting up the street lamps and levelling the soil. I guess roads are the last thing to be done. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 744May 01, 2017 8:31 pm Good news in that the Monday rain came and they don't work after 6 pm. The showers tonight clear up by morning and they start work at 7 am with no rain. So all is well. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 745May 03, 2017 8:54 am Hey Ting Ting, did Winslow call you back at all? Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 746May 03, 2017 3:04 pm No email or response from Winslow and I don't expect them to do so. Also no Asphalting done, Olive Hume would not have a clue Last week. They were using pumps to suck out the water from pits they have around stage two. Yesterday. Optical fiber cable was pumped in from one point to another around stage 2 It took a whole day. Today. Access Boring is on site with his staff for work in various pits around stage 2, Google them and you will what they do. One Winslow machine is scrapping soil of the reservation area to prepare it for footpath work. ( In My view they could have had three of 4 machines on various streets and finish this quick smart while it is dry.) There is also a site office with two Toilets set up at the corner of Bayview Rd. Could be for work on the intersection but I don't know. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 749May 04, 2017 1:43 pm Went over for a walk today as ou House sale guy is also in Officer. Access Boring is doing work there today again, in pits and digging pits along the Footpath and reservation. You need this done before you do footpaths and put the lights up.. When you walk on street footpaths and reservation grass you will see plastic and concrete area where you can open up to get to wires and pipes. That is exactly what Access Boring are setting up now. Once this is done they can then look at doing footpaths. It looks like they are a small team so it may take today and Tomorrow, The supervisor also seems to be back. He is the guy that drives his Winslow van up and do stage two telling workers what to do and instructing them, you can hear his voice. Absolutely love this guy and the way he goes around. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 750May 06, 2017 11:12 am Went shopping with Mrs and passed by. They are working there today, supervisor as well and he never stops instructing and managing. Think they are aiming hard to finish and start lights or footpaths next week. If they do and no rain then they are on target for end May finish. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 751May 08, 2017 7:30 am Lots of 'possible showers' and 'mostly sunny' days this week. Hopefully it stays sunny enough for them to get through a bit of work this week. Went up Saturday afternoon to have a look. There definitely has been visible progress, another layer of road base had been laid between the weekend prior and this one too. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 752May 08, 2017 8:01 am Good morning all!!! That is really good to hear!!! As my loan is finally all sorted, we have to wait for the lamd to get titled now. Thats all!!! Hopefully it happens sooner than later!!! Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 753May 08, 2017 8:23 am Fulton Hogan is back and all are up and early when I took my girls to school. They will finish on time..... or should I say... They better finish on time. Can't get anything more done with the Builder until I get Title.. Hopefully as advised earlier stage is getting title today!!! Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 756May 08, 2017 9:49 am Puddlette From their website it looks like they focus mostly on roads and asphalt sealing... So potentially we could have some roads today? Yes and hopefully there is no rain atm so they can work until rain starts sgain Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 757May 08, 2017 11:22 am It was Pipeline Infrastructure truck and 3 others vans. If I get around this afternoon I might check but with the showers continuing to persist I think all will be called off. Could have been a productive say if it was sunny. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 758May 08, 2017 12:25 pm That's a nice progress - atleast by May end title lodgment, looks promising .... ofcourse with few more sunny days. And, today is the 'D' day for Stage 1 folks as their land titles .... It will be good to see some houses coming up soon in the estate... Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 759May 08, 2017 4:45 pm The only thing that will stop them from finishing on time is the Melbourne weather, These showers seem to be persisting 1) Footpaths you can't do because to soil is not stable enough if it is to wet, 2) Land leveling you can't do because the soil is like mud. 3) Putting the lights up ?????/ Maybe. Promenice were put up in the wet.
