Browse Forums Buying Land Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 863Jun 05, 2017 12:07 pm the sun is still not properly out. But i hope they are working hard this week. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 864Jun 06, 2017 2:40 pm My final report.
Footpaths and finished and the two mountain of soil are now small hills that will not take much to dispose of over the area. The have seven corner roads that need concrete. 1) Primrose Ave / Clara Drive 2) Clara Drive / Ruben Street 3) Clara Drive / Alberico Way 4) Clara drive / Heathcote Grove 5) Heathcote Grove / Eades Street 6) Heathcote Grove / Alberico way 7) Heathcote Grove / Ruben Street. They should have finished 30 May but another 5 to 10 days more makes no difference. Besides the seven corners they also have land work and others various things here and there. I’m hoping that a statement of compliance is issued shortly after the 15th. If not then it’s wait and see. Work is also done on Gilbert land to enable them to extend Gum Leaf lane from Station street to connect to Pioneer way. Have no idea how long that will take. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 865Jun 06, 2017 4:39 pm that seems to me like a lot of work. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 867Jun 07, 2017 7:04 pm Did anyone had tried to go to visit to see if they were able to do anything today as weather was clear! Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 869Jun 09, 2017 5:27 pm Puddlette I received a letter from my conveyancer today together with a letter from the vendor. Proposed registration is mid-July. We received it too. But its confusing. They have asked to keep the finances ready by then. What does that mean? Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 870Jun 09, 2017 5:51 pm I hope it means it's a bit more official now than previously... but it's very cryptic and I don't want to assume anything. My bank told me they can go on site to do the valuation on 26/06/2017. The letter said 'we are instructed that access to the property for valuation purposes can only be obtained approximately 2 weeks after the issue of the statement of compliance by council'.... so does that mean it's been issued?! It's all very odd because I didn't think they had submitted it yet. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 872Jun 09, 2017 5:55 pm Even our conveyancer did not give us ny update. They r sending some letters to sign but what letters. It does say. It is annoying as i dont know if we need to be happy or sad. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 873Jun 09, 2017 6:12 pm Haha yeah. Its so confusing. I want to be excited but I'm not sure if it's anything to be excited about and in case we are let down. Yeah our conveyancer is sending us the transfer papers to sign and return.. is that what you were told too? Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 874Jun 09, 2017 6:21 pm Statement of compliance should be soon after next week. There is no rain for all next week and things are looking good, Just check the Spear web site and punch in the Plan number. 738353A Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 876Jun 09, 2017 7:14 pm Puddlette Haha yeah. Hopefully someone here might have better update than us. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 878Jun 09, 2017 7:52 pm The statement of compliance box is not ticks off by letter you receive, it's ticked off when all work is completed and passed. This should be around the 15th or soon after if all is well. Not sure what they did today but the last time I went around they had three concrete road corners left to do. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 879Jun 10, 2017 3:28 am Yes, it is indeed very confusing.. Also, noticed that there are some changes to few lots where easement has been increased ( that's my understanding, but maybe wrong)... did anyone notice that ? Yeah I don't know why I came to a forum. Place is full of wierdos/pedos thought internet may help but I suppose I'll try my luck with someone in person. Cheers.
