South Siding is marked as an area prone to flooding. So we knew we were a P-Class slab well before the land titled or soils were tested. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1203Sep 11, 2017 2:31 pm mis I've just spoken with Simonds who advised me of the termite treatment too - apparently this applies to anyone who signed their contract at the first half of 2016. Anyone after would have had it included in their contract. They gave 2x options, $150 for front of the house only or (the builders preferred, more expensive option) for the perimeter of the house for $680. .. Builders use treated pine in their builds, which is termite resistant. I've opted for the $150 option, as if it wasn't safe - they wouldn't be offering it. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1212Sep 21, 2017 11:00 am They submitted a fortnight ago but because we had to get additional approvals from South East Water due to us building near the easement. The council had our permit ready within 5 days but it was pending the additional approval Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1214Sep 22, 2017 9:13 pm If we have someone in this group who owns lot 241, please contact me as i would like to discuss about fencing.
