Cant wait Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1083Aug 01, 2017 12:39 pm Yes... I got the email from my solicitor saying the same and to get finance ready. We were told on here that from Compliance to registration will be around 2 months. But for us.Compliance to registration will only be around 2 to 3 weeks. :-D:-D Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1084Aug 01, 2017 1:04 pm From the Greatest American hero lyric. Look at what's happened to me I can't believe it myself Suddenly I'm up on top of the world It should have been somebody else Believe it or not, I'm walkin' on air I never thought I could feel so free Flyin' away on a wing and a prayer Who could it be? Believe it or not it's just me It's all over. But someone forgot to take down the fence. It doesn't really matter, they just pay more money for the longer they keep it. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1086Aug 01, 2017 2:54 pm our loan is already sorted. Does it apply to us? Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1087Aug 01, 2017 4:37 pm Well as they've held interest rates no. * But also untill we title, your rate might change unless you paid for a rate lock. This applies to most banks, but is also only an issue for people who have applied for a fixed rate loan. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1089Aug 02, 2017 9:32 am I've been watch the average across the area for land for some time now, and currently its $735 per square metre. (this is taken from 40 properties data in the last 3 months) Ting Ting: at that sale price, it makes the per square metre price $825, so that's great news for all of us. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1091Aug 02, 2017 10:23 am Yeah ours was 616 per sqm. Going by what houses and land are selling for on RE.com.au I think we all got in at a good time. Officer is really nice in comparison to other estates. It seems as though everyone is taking care of their houses and front yards too which helps. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1092Aug 02, 2017 11:11 am I said early in the thread when others were saying Timber Top was the place that the ugly duckling (South Siding ) was a bargain in comparison to what they were paying there per sqm., ,...... Now we are up with them. ( And anyone that brought here got a bargain) Can't wait for the Officer South road to be built and the Shop to see what affect it has on this area. Station Car park upgrade has started and will be completed by Christmas. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1093Aug 02, 2017 11:22 am I agree regarding the comparison with Timbertop. I went there a few weeks ago and the prices had increased since last year but not as much as I thought. When is the south road and the shops getting built? Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1094Aug 02, 2017 11:45 am It was really a bargain. We also bought around the same price as arogorn stated... Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1095Aug 02, 2017 11:46 am Intersection lights at Bay view rd/ Princess Hwy are scheduled for next year (2018-2019) Officer South Rd is a Vic rd project and there is nothing on it as yet. I guess they want to finish the Freeway first. Town centre shop could start any time for here onward. The whole officer Precinct completion for a major Hub is 20 years, starting from 2011. Half way mark is 2021 so you would expect to have something started by then to at least have a local hub going. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1096Aug 02, 2017 11:53 am The full road wasn't to be completed till 2022-23 ( all the way down the freeway) However, the whole Officer Precinct is in review check out more here Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 1097Aug 02, 2017 7:13 pm cozmicparadox The full road wasn't to be completed till 2022-23 ( all the way down the freeway) However, the whole Officer Precinct is in review check out more here I went with my wife last week to meet and greet for the town centre and when done it will be quite good. But i don't see it finished anytime soon thou. Land prices in officer is no way as insane as clyde north atm (No idea how?). But when the town centre is finished it will be a good boost to officer. Officer is still a great place to buy land atm. Just a quick question is South siding on NBN Co or Opticom? as only a few estates in officer seem to have NBN Co.
