Browse Forums Buying Land 1 Nov 15, 2016 8:47 am Hi fellow new home builders, just wondering what everyone's experiences have been for registering of land in newly developed areas such as Riverstone and Schofields? We have land currently being developed, with the civil works due to be completed end of December. The developer has advised the land should be registered by February, however I am skeptical of this. Anyone recently gone or going through registration know how long the land takes to register with the land and titles office? Re: Land Registration- Schofields/ Riverstone NSW 2Nov 15, 2016 9:06 pm Hi, Reading through others who have posted and based on our first hand experience you are right. It would be longer than the 2 months - factor in holidays in that period too and Feb feels like its not far away. If its a bigger subdivision definitely in the 4-6 month range. If its a small boutique subby of say 4 lots (as an example) then its usually quicker. Re: Land Registration- Schofields/ Riverstone NSW 3Nov 16, 2016 5:52 pm Thanks car zone....... definitely my thoughts, I am thinking April so fingers crossed it won't be much after this!!! We bought land in Tallawong Schofields NSW size 30m X 12.5m and planning to get double story house build around 350 sqm. We are thinking about having premium inclusions… 0 4086 No idea about the driveway question, but your price for a house that size including landscaping seems very good! 1 6159 Just to clarify, I'm not a builder I've read my own council's LEP numerous times and worked with an architect to understand my own lot size and problems. 5 1818 |
