Browse Forums Buying Land Re: Building at Cliftleigh Meadows? 2Jan 27, 2016 1:35 pm Hey, Thought I'd jump onto this thread (previously spoke to you on the Hudson Homes thread. Went over to the estate Thursday arvo as we had settlement Friday and wanted to check everything was ok still. Pretty disappointed to see how vandalised that house on top on the hill going up is. Really hope that kinda stuff doesn't happen to us. Also a bit annoyed that the block behind us wont sell until stage 7. Didn't think to ask Greg earlier but it won't be sold for at least 18 months. More likely over 2 years We'll have to fork out for fencing and will have construction right around us for ageees. That's my fault though... He approved us having 2.1m fences though Re: Building at Cliftleigh Meadows? 3Jan 27, 2016 2:40 pm Hi, Yeah we have dogs and want our fence up asap so there's a possibility we will have to pay for the full fence giving our neighbours the option to say no to going halves unless they are building right at the same time. Yeah we said the same thing about that house little losers with nothing better to do hopefully once there are more going up they'll be deterred a bit. well done with the higher fencing might keep a bit of the construction distraction down a bit. I'm a shift worker so I'm going to cop the construction noise regardless ? Re: Building at Cliftleigh Meadows? 5Mar 01, 2016 7:54 am Things are coming along a lot smoother now after a bit of a hiccup with Oracle we should be signing our contract this week then we get to have fun with council. Luckily were not in too much of a hurry and saving by moving to the inlaws backyard in a $70/wk portable cabin. How about you? Re: Building at Cliftleigh Meadows? 6Apr 08, 2016 9:44 am Sorry I accidently turned off my notifications We're going well. We've signed all of our plans, done colours. Just waiting on Winten Property to provide us with the sewer diagrams so we don't have to pay for a peg out. Since paying them they are less helpful lol File was being prepared last week for CDC submission yay! Re: Building at Cliftleigh Meadows? 8Jun 16, 2016 7:59 am We drove out during the last big flood not last weeks but before that. The water comes up a fair way on the low side of the road where the sports fields are going and where the dams are but not so much across the road and up the hill into the estate. We haven't started our build yet but there are a heap going up pretty quick now. Re: Building at Cliftleigh Meadows? 10Aug 03, 2016 10:38 pm My partner and I are building at cliftleigh through oracle our block has just been cut and build is now underway, we are in Arrowfield street we have a few neighbours already, we won't be affected when it floods the estate is a bit higher up from where testers hollow creek runs through Re: Building at Cliftleigh Meadows? 11Sep 05, 2016 7:01 pm Hey neighbours! We're in brokenwood avenue! In council now - building with Perry homes. How's the build coming along? Re: Building at Cliftleigh Meadows? 12Sep 05, 2016 10:50 pm Hi we are in Brokenwood Ave as well building with Oracle, our site is cut and retaining walls done. It's coming along well, so far so good after the bumpy ride to this point we are feeling a lot better about things. Re: Building at Cliftleigh Meadows? 13Sep 06, 2016 6:37 am I'm fairly certain your our across the road neighbour. We have an oracle that's got all that done currently. We're number 12 or lot 143!. Glad to hear everything is moving along better now Re: Building at Cliftleigh Meadows? 14Sep 13, 2016 2:44 am Hi all- I'm building at cliftleigh. Not in cliftleigh meadows but down a little bit further in the established estate. (The block was too good to pass up). I'm just wondering if any of you have had any issues with rock or your slab classification. I know these can vary between blocks but just trying to see what sort of ground were building on. Thanks ? Hope everyone's builds are going well. We're almost done. We're the house on the corner of Howard Street with the black roof Think I know which one you mean, we went for a drive today to see how everyone is going. We should be out of council tomorrow (fingers crossed) I can't wait to see the slab! Eeeee How has your build gone? Which builder did you go with? viewtopic.php?f=31&t=84756&view=undread#unread Re: Building at Cliftleigh Meadows? 18Jul 19, 2020 4:54 pm Hi, We just signed our name for a block in Cliftleigh Meadows Stage 15. Just wonder if anyone built near stage 15 (ie illbrook Rd, Moore Bank Rd, Glen Ayr etc) can tell me what is your slab classification or soil type is. Understand that it will be different from block to block. Thanks. Thanks for your reply. I will just wait and see I guess. Trying to get some more information from our builder. 9 29919 go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110215 |
