VMEN: I'll go check out the frame in more detail this weekend to see if there is a similar issue. Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 146May 20, 2016 10:04 am Yeh, was thinking that..That is a lot. We only had around 5 for slab and building with Carlisle. Good thing is they got picked up and whatever is found gets fixed before moving to next stage. Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 148Jun 06, 2016 2:22 pm Not yet, I think our home will be ready some time in September. I was thinking the exact same thing last night, i don't know how to check what is available in terms of internet there, as our addresses are not available in the telcos' systems yet. Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 150Jun 14, 2016 12:44 pm sabrina Hi all,Does anyone know if we will have internet when the time comes to move in?Is anyone nearly at the move in stage of their property? Hi Sabrina, are we supposed to connect the internet by ourselves? i think we need to stick with opticomm ? and only have a few choices for the fiber connection company? i think telstra can't check our address, but you can check our addresses in opticomm website. Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 153Jun 16, 2016 11:16 pm when we type in Lot xxxx street name, Keysborough VIC 3173, if your address is within their connection area, it will show a table with your address and also the sentence "Here's our list of available connections from your search. Are you located in any of these locations?" actually i randomly put the stage 36 and 37 LOT numbers in with the correct street name in early april, it showed a table of all our LOTS within their connection area, but i believe they changed the interface and result page now. Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 154Jun 16, 2016 11:28 pm You are right, i didnt try using the LOT number, I see it now. So if that is the case, what kind of service does opticomm offer do we know? their website doesnt say much Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 155Jun 17, 2016 12:20 am yes, i think our stages do not connect with telstra, but opticomm. i guess, we may need to use those ISPs which show in their website. such as iinet or iprimus , or something else, not sure, i want to use TPG, even down grade back to normal ADSL 2+ with home phone plan , hahaha, but i think it may not be possible ? i don't know, as TPG is not in their list and TPG doesn't provide FTTH ? i think we may have much choices though.... Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 156Jun 17, 2016 12:22 am Yeah I see now a few providers on their site. I would like to have fast internet, so it's great that we have fiber optic. All we have to do is choose one of those providers, they do not seem too expensive. I mean, more expensive than TPG that i use now, but I get really crap speeds now. Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 157Jun 17, 2016 1:47 am i am not sure about the speed, i saw some posts which mentioned the fibre speed provided by telstra, seems sucked, quite slow and even super slow during peak hour at night. actually only 10-20 dollars different between the normal ADSL2+ plan and fibre plans. but really not sure about the Air TV thing which provide by those ISP Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 159Jun 17, 2016 6:25 pm i think those listed companies have deals with opticomm. i don't want to pick any of those companies. perhaps i will ask TPG to check whether i can use them as ISP , even for adsl2+ rather than using those company, i think TPG is very stable. those companies do not provide stable speed. i am not sure.
