Finally it has started. aragorn That's probably a good thing, crews can just move from one block to another Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 124Mar 26, 2016 8:48 am I drove by yesterday, not much has been done on our block, just the fence is up and they cleared up the site. There are 3 blocks that have their slab poured already, so it's very exciting to see progress around the area. There's probably around 12-13 blocks with fences up now. Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 128Apr 23, 2016 8:28 pm Today I counted more than 30 blocks that have started, there were people working on some of them. It was very exciting as the place seemed full of life. What is the process to put up a fence around the house? Do we need to wait for the house to be complete to do that? (I assume so) And how does it work with the neighbours etc? Do we need to contact the council somehow to notify them, or what? Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 129Apr 24, 2016 1:45 am Hiya It is recommended that fence is done after completion. Usually the person doing the fence gets your brig ours details from council and sends them notification. Well this is what I've been told. Yep lots of houses are up. Our frame gets completed next week. How's everyone else's house going? aragorn Today I counted more than 30 blocks that have started, there were people working on some of them. Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 139Apr 26, 2016 10:22 am Sounds very exciting! We are half way through the frame stage but the neighbour next to us has not even started, so not sure what we will do in terms of fencing. Anyone hiring independent inspectors? We are thinking about it but not sure if it's needed? Re: somerfield estate stage 36 massive delays for title 140Apr 26, 2016 11:49 am Exciting exciting...Just cant wait for it all to finish and we move in.. same here--both block beside us have not started building....but would be nice to have fence up when we move in but not sure about the damages cause by neighbours building Building Inspectors - I would recommend getting one.. How's everyone build going? happy with what you guys see so far..Any issues? We went to the site in weekend. Not happy with the Upstairs floor board nailing. You can see all the nails from downstairs which they missed nailing into the timber..and there is lots of it..Anyone else has the same issue or anything?
