On LPI web site After 13days of the initial application lodgement they picked up the application. with in 15min after picking up they have updated status as "ON Requestion" (waiting for info). Looks like after few days developer submitted requested information, but again with in few hours of submitting status has been reverted back to "On requestion". May be LPI are still waiting for more information from developer. It isn't from Google Maps, it's from a company called NearMaps, they provide more upto date aerial shots for helping with engineering related work and anything that requires an aerial view really. They tend to update a lot more frequently than google maps due to being quite an expensive subscription service, even though they purchase the images from google satellites and their own aircraft.
