Browse Forums Buying Land Re: Blue Horizon Estate, North Kellyville 509Feb 22, 2015 6:32 am Raina i was also expecting it to be low the report is fairly comprehensive and looks at proximity of vegetation within a 140m radius. As far as i could see from the pictures in the report the main issue is the "bush" on the other side of Stringer road... On a different note i have seen on two occasions now that our address is 3 Cocoparra Circuit. We thought we would be 1 or 2 as we're the first house facing Cocoparra...does anyone know why?? Re: Blue Horizon Estate, North Kellyville 510Feb 22, 2015 6:59 am Awwww man.. Damn those trees.. Our address I believe is 207 stringer road.... If it's not us, which lot would be 1 cocoparra Saintly.. I didn't know we can challenge bal ratings.. Is that done by going through another certifier?? Alkira homes - Elyse15 Re: Blue Horizon Estate, North Kellyville 511Feb 22, 2015 7:29 am No challenge the one you have Lot 305 Wattleridge crescent Re: Blue Horizon Estate, North Kellyville 512Feb 22, 2015 8:13 am No idea about house numbers.. we are 5 houses in from Stringer road and we are number 17.. lol Also my friend's house is technically the first in with the possibility of 2 additional houses going where the existing house is on Stringer/Wattlerigde corner and his is number 11.. even with the other two there, that's still number 7 being the first house on the odd side of the street.. I wonder why? I hope it's not due to duplexes or something along that line. I just visited your blog - it looks great! Your landscape plan is similar to ours in that we're going to keep it simple - turf and hedging type plants. No official landscape plan as yet though. Re: Blue Horizon Estate, North Kellyville 514Feb 22, 2015 5:40 pm Hi Everyone, I am the 'old' lady who lives on the corner of Stringer Road in 'that old house'. Have been reading with interest some of the comments in this forum...which I have only just found. I have been watching the subdivision with interest for the past 9 months and am just as excited as you all are to be building a new home also. We will eventually knock down our 'old home'. We have met some really nice people who have bought land in the 'Blue Horizons Estate' and am looking forward to watching your new homes go up, just as I am looking forward to my new home. The numbering system has us confused as well. We are building a Metricon home right up on the corner. We have nothing but praise for the developers and TRN. All the best with your build, hope it goes smoothly. From what I remember, they are building a Sherwood 42 with some extra customisation. We're building a few doors up at 105. From what I understand, you will be building two houses there? Is that right? I assume that means the plumbing in of the toilets to the town recycled water as per the DCP for North Kellyville? I'm budgeting around $4k for water tank and $3.5k for rain garden but have no idea what I'm up for with the recycled water connection. Been great to watch Blur Horizon unfold, I'm sure we're in for a very similar journey and all your posts have been extremely helpful and interesting to read. Good luck with the house builds Re: Blue Horizon Estate, North Kellyville 518Feb 23, 2015 12:38 pm light487 Daljon Hi Everyone, I am the 'old' lady who lives on the corner of Stringer Road in 'that old house'. Yes we are hoping to build two homes, but will concentrate on the first one and maybe have open space next to us, as our home will be on the corner of Stringer Rd and Wattleridge Cres. We have met quite a few of the land owners over the past 9 months and they are all very nice people. Glad the fences are down now. Everyone has access to their blocks.
