I have seen some folks on here that are Lot 2055 and I think 2056. So a couple of neighbours. We are both in early 40s with 4yo boy and 16 mth girl. We are building with MainVue Homes. No one here seems to have mentioned them (I don't think?). They are Henley's Signature brand of homes. Sounds posh, but basically a way of marketing extras as inclusions. Building single story Ivory 232 - http://goo.gl/wiERiK Very happy with designs and Inclusions - http://goo.gl/Rq3NRd We also signed with them during a promo, so getting Colourbond roof, polished porcelain tiles, 40mm ceasarstone bench tops, timber stacker & sliding doors, SMEG appliances, and a few other things thrown in. Re: Cloverlea Estate - Chirnside Park VIC 684Apr 07, 2014 10:21 pm Hi welcome Tony & Kate, there are some stage two people here, l haven't heard of Main view, but it's good to mention them, gives people another option choosing a builder is very difficult, this forum has been great to share info around Re: Cloverlea Estate - Chirnside Park VIC 685Apr 07, 2014 10:25 pm Thanks Sanna.. totally agree about houses. We had quotes form Rivergum (thankfully didn't engage them), Porter Davis and Burbank before we settled on MainVue. Re: Cloverlea Estate - Chirnside Park VIC 686Apr 07, 2014 10:32 pm We also met with river gum, very glad we didn't choose them, We also like the Monaco that Henley had, but fell in love with SBG display, we have chopped and changed a few things, but very happy, after looking around for months We are block 1088 in stage one, Re: Cloverlea Estate - Chirnside Park VIC 689Apr 07, 2014 11:23 pm Sanna Mutski your flag is gone!!??????? Hope it was you who took it, Wasn't me! It hasn't just fallen over? I'm not really that worried if someone took it. They were only about $6 on ebay. I have another one here, but maybe I should order a few more. Re: Cloverlea Estate - Chirnside Park VIC 691Apr 08, 2014 8:17 am Mmmmmm! I'll go have a look tonight, l would hate to think you've been rapped and pillaged !! could very well cause a Mutiny! Don't want to make one of those workers walk the plank before he finished his job Re: Cloverlea Estate - Chirnside Park VIC 693Apr 08, 2014 9:09 am belindaleebinz Hi everyone Just giving everyone an update on our progress with the settlement penalty dispute. So unfortunately, yes they will be charging everyone per day every day past 10th April we are settling hopefully around 15th or 17th once my home loan is finalized next week.. I did even try getting Rochelle to email the vendor, she happily and kindly did, however they wouldn't exempt us from the penalty fees very dissapointing but oh well. So paying $620 for 5 business days out of settlement date. Oh well we did try very avenue, but didn't work, my rock wall is in so I don't have anything to argue with lol. On the up side we finalized all our contracts today and have a site start set for April 28th. woooooo Carlisle homes said won't be over 4 months build time, but they usually build under so expect date between August and September cannot wait to be in our house, as Ofcourse everyone else can't! It's gonna be amazing to see our estate come alive Ps is any of our neighbours on here? Were lot 1071 near the raingarden 1080 or 1070? Or 1081? Well that is a real shame. It's not like you are purposely delaying settlement Good to read you have a site start and will be in August/September, it will be great to have people living in the estate whilst other houses are going up, keep an eye out etc! Re: Cloverlea Estate - Chirnside Park VIC 695Apr 08, 2014 10:44 am ftdt7882, Thanx and yeh will keep an eye out for everyone, hey sanna so how many rock Walls are not finished? Is your finished? And if they're not finished by the 10th is everyone else not settling? Thanx Re: Newbies 696Apr 08, 2014 11:55 am tckc Hi, We are Tony & Kate an have purchased Lot 2053 in Stage 2. Re: Cloverlea Estate - Chirnside Park VIC 698Apr 08, 2014 1:07 pm For those that have blocks in Stage 1 without a footpath, do you know what we can/can't do when it comes to maintaining that area? Can we put plants there or does it have to stay grass and we maintain it? I can't find any info to see if the council plans to put trees/shrubs in those large nature strip areas. Re: Cloverlea Estate - Chirnside Park VIC 699Apr 08, 2014 5:26 pm Hi Belinda, at least 6walls not anywhere near finished, including yours, What dose your conveyancer say about not settling till the walls are finished?? Hi ftdt7882, in the contract it says the council are putting initial trees in, however if that tree dies, disappears, ect, we are responsible for replacing it, we are planning on putting fake grass on ours I would imagine the trees will be Aussie natives!! Yeah I don't know why I came to a forum. Place is full of wierdos/pedos thought internet may help but I suppose I'll try my luck with someone in person. Cheers. I tried… 0 6446 I have posted this before: We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing. Thorough reports… 2 4518 |
