Thanks for the info about the cost of your driveway, i'm getting a 2nd quote on friday. We have chosen exposed aggregate as well, from Cranbourne Pre-mix. It is more expensive but it looks really good, I think it's worth it in the long run. So you've been receiving mail now at your new house? Did you get your rubbish bins? Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 128Dec 05, 2013 9:10 am That is so exciting Chrystee!! We have been receiving mail from the day we moved in, we got a cheap letterbox from bunnings to use until we do landscaping and get one we like! They will problably tell you at your PCI about bins but you have to call Casey council and ask for them and they will deliver them to you. They told us we would get them 3 days after move in date but they were there the day we moved in. I think it was your house I walked past the other day (from pics on your blog I think it was yours!). It looks great. Good luck for tomorrow! Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 131Dec 09, 2013 8:54 pm Almost there Chrystee, I'm sure you will be in in no time. Do you have date yet? Well, no internet yet!! Before we had handover we registered our property with Opticomm. They then sent a form and checklist that needs to be ticked off by thr builders. We gave this to our site supervisor and he handed it to the company that installed everything, they were so slow, we got the checklist back after 3 weeks which meant we didn't get opticomm out until Wednesday just gone. Opticomm only do appointments on Wednesday afternoons and they were booked out for about 2 weeks. It's all done now, we just need to connect to an internet provider. I tried iinet today but they said they couldn't find the address and they think it is because telstra installed everything which means we can only go with internode or telstra. Anyway hopefully we will connect it all in a few days. Good luck with handover!! Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 133Dec 10, 2013 3:07 pm Oh no! Still no internet! Hopefully its not too much longer. I hope that doesn't happen to us, we have our appointment with opticomm next Wednesday. I think we were going to go with iinet too, looks like we may have to change. Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 134Dec 10, 2013 4:56 pm We can go with iinet!! The guy I spoke to yesterday was wrong and it is all fine to get connected as long as Opticomm has connected everything woohoo! That's great you got a quick appointment with Opticomm, you should have no hold ups! Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 135Dec 11, 2013 5:44 pm We connected through iinet too. It took them a little while to establish that they actually do service the area but once they realised that that everything had been set up for connection through opticomm it only took about 24 hours for the service to actually be switched on. Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 137Dec 21, 2013 8:41 am That's great Chrystee!! I called aus post Thursday as we have had trouble. Family members had sent mail that we still haven't received. Some days we get mail but some we don't. Aus post weren't very helpful when I phoned. They said it will take up to 10 days to follow up and if the posties say they are delivering then there is nothing they can do. Very frustrating but hopefully it improves. Yeah I don't know why I came to a forum. Place is full of wierdos/pedos thought internet may help but I suppose I'll try my luck with someone in person. Cheers.
