Browse Forums Buying Land Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 102Aug 30, 2013 11:25 am Great news Chrystee! Hopefully this beautiful spring weather stays around for you while they get your slab done. Since our slab was poured on the 15th things have definitely started to speed up. I visited our site yesterday and found the frame complete, windows/sliding doors in and gutters/fascia also finished. Roof is due to be started on Monday. Hopefully they keep up this pace from here on in. How are things going for you Nique01? Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 103Sep 01, 2013 8:25 pm That's great Ijoh. The weather is beautiful this week so hopefully no hold ups for you. Our house is moving along really well. We are in fixing stage now, plaster is all in! I think doors and cabinets go in next but not too sure. Hope your build continues to go well. Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 105Sep 17, 2013 8:20 pm That's great slab is poured. From slab to lock up, it was roughly 5 weeks. It moved very quickly once the frame was up. I went out on the weekend and there are so many houses going up and it looks like a few people have moved in. Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 107Oct 13, 2013 9:33 pm Hi, Ours is going very well. They're going extremely fast! It's only been 6 weeks and so much has been done. We have an excellent BC. Very happy with Porter Davis at this stage! I have a blog going with some pics. Hows yours going? http://chrysteeporterdavis.blogspot.com.au/ Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 108Oct 18, 2013 12:01 pm Hi, i'm building close by, Just wanted to know if anyone has been affected by being in a flood prone area? And what happened if they were?
I just saw a map and it definitely looks like it is subject to Inundation overlay. Does anyone know what this really means? But from the sounds of everyone's build, it doesn't sound like it's been an issue at all... Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 109Oct 20, 2013 9:35 pm Berwick Waters advised on their Facebok page that the land is not prone to flooding. I think this is why we have such a large area of wet lands. Are you happy with your estate at The Boulevard? Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 110Oct 21, 2013 11:50 am Thanks for the reply Chrystee, I am looking forward to both our estates being completed especially the parks and wetlands that berwick waters will offer and the new shops at the front of Berwick waters...
Your house is coming along nicely, great design you have choosen! Good luck with the rest of the build, hoepfully it goes smoothly! Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 112Nov 09, 2013 1:27 pm Hi Chrystee, how's the build going? We are only a couple of weeks off handover!! We decided to go with Mr Fussy fencing. I noticed he had done a few fences in Berwick Waters and he was a good price. We won't have a fence up until after handover though. Unfortunitely only one lot next to us has sold so we have to pay for the total price of the rear and one side of the fence. We have sent letters to the owners of the other side but heard nothing back. Not sure what to do when neighbours don't respond?! Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 113Nov 10, 2013 9:48 am Hi nique, the builds going really fast That's so exciting your almost moving in! We also have to pay for both sides. I think it will be a long wait until we get some of the money back from our neighbours. The block next to us hasn't been sold, and on the other side, it hasn't been subdivided yet. I tried googling mr fussy fencing, but couldn't find them, do they have a website? Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 114Nov 11, 2013 6:17 am I don't think he has a website. I got the contact details from a sign that was on another fence and he was also mentioned in another forum. The number is 0421 329 352. I didn't have to meet anyone, they went out and measured our block then emailed me the quote which was great. Re: Berwick Waters - Land Titles 116Nov 13, 2013 9:54 am Got my first rates notice!! $190.85. Did you get yours? I also called up a guy about getting a brick letter box - $200. Found his name on a business card stuck to my house. I'll be getting it done just after the driveway is poured. Yeah I don't know why I came to a forum. Place is full of wierdos/pedos thought internet may help but I suppose I'll try my luck with someone in person. Cheers. I tried… 0 6385 Need advice on the backyard plan above. Should I excavate and cut all of the dirt to level with the house slab or semi-excavate as per photo above? Both left and right… 0 24779 13 6564 |
