I am hoping to go see drysdale sometime soon Re: Put a deposit on a land, now what? 102Sep 17, 2011 10:26 am trudyx Boy am I glad we had site costs included! Otherwise by the sound of the expenses, we would not be getting a house! i have just looked at your thread and that's a nice looking place. is it still on display? Re: Put a deposit on a land, now what? 103Sep 17, 2011 10:43 am Yeah we opted for a house and land package. The estate wanted to get rid of these last four blocks of land, so reduced the price and aimed to sell them. It was the perfect location, and when we saw we loved the house, it was the only way for us to go. So yeah, our promotion included site costs (again, thank god!) because that covers all of the slab upgrades and everything else. We are actually very pleased, as we were like "sure there will be no site costs... there's always something" but nope, none! It also included front drive way and landscaping, so we're pretty happy. Sadly the house isn't on display anymore as they closed it when Places merged with PD. I still drive past it sometimes to remind myself what my house will look like though haha! They did take all the best bits though and include them in the optima range I believe. They were really nice, but i think the whole site cost's have put a damper on me?? It's like i was excited for so long, that the price shattered me Check my blog we put an initail Deposit ($800) down ith Henley so we have 2 houses to lock it in and we have time to decide which one we want February12 so is the henley promotiion still on? or they haven't updated their website yet? I think you are correct - i just checked and it hasn't been updated...they were having a price rice as well yesterday - maybe the price rise is "no" greenfield saving???
