Hi - We are considering buying a residential block of land in Wyoming Central Coast NSW.
It is peppered with gum trees - to build anything at least some would need to be cut down.
I understand that Wyoming council LIKES trees - is this likely to be a problem or limit the dimensions of the house we could build?
I understand it is difficult/impossible to get approval to remove trees further than 3metres away from an existing dwelling, but I am not sure what the situation is when getting a new house built.
Another question we have is about getting some sort of site inspection prior to purchasing a block - along the same lines of getting a building inpection for an existing house - would this be normal?
As you can probably tell from my questions we are very new to the new house scene - any advice here would be greatly appreciated.
