Re: Cranbourne West -Casiana Grove 23Sep 29, 2011 7:35 pm Great we could be neighbours! Watch out for a Henley popping up early next year! They have already got the pegs up and the road was completed last weekend. I'll watch out for a carlise home going up. Just curious which carlise design did you get? We were looking at them as well. Re: Cranbourne West -Casiana Grove 24Sep 30, 2011 11:32 am Yay!!! Last time we went out there roads hadn't been done. Will have to take a visit this weekend. We went with the Sunbury 29 which I think is relatively new?? Just fell in love with after going around every other home builder. Re: Cranbourne West -Casiana Grove 25Sep 30, 2011 10:43 pm Nice plan! I had my eyes on the Subury as well! Its similar to the Henley we are getting. You must be close to us as there are a few larger block all close together. There's also two larger blocks closer towards golf course. We had our sales consultant ask the land sales office if it was all going to be connected before we signed and they said it would be ill be a tad upset if it isnt, seeing as we had to pay a reasonable sum through our builder to have the smart wiring through the house as an estate requirement Re: Cranbourne West -Casiana Grove 30Oct 05, 2011 3:29 pm My mates girlfriend built in this estate and Im very certain she has the telstra fibre internet. http://lindeman28.blogspot.com - Our building blog Re: Cranbourne West -Casiana Grove 32Oct 07, 2011 7:28 pm harleycruize thezurk I'm building with urban edge homes in stage 3. I'm hoping to be in by Xmas, almost finish brick work. I think I will be pushing it lol Re: Cranbourne West -Casiana Grove 34Oct 09, 2011 11:07 am We are building with Porter Davis in Ambrosia which is located in Cranbourne West, probably closer to Mariott Waters/Lyndhurst. There is a proposed business park near there and public and private schools as well as a shopping centre. We paid $ for our land and all up with everything $. We have hit a snag with the land titling and settlement. We hve finalised our finance and wait to sign our final drawing of land/house, but council is basically holding us up. We put our deposit down in April- so it will be approx. 1 yr from start to finish. Hope like living in the area as it is close to the Eastern and Southern suburbs and doesnt take that long to get to the CBD. We looked at Mariott Waters in the area that is currently being dug up on the corner across from the pertol station, but the package we wanted adn made a deposit on didnt fit the house they advertised. So they mentioend Ambrosia and it saved us $30k to move 5 mins down the street and the bloack was bigger, we chose a 508sqm block. At Mariott it was 458sqm. What are you building? Two things that stood out that we did not budget for were: 1). FIbre Optics - Smart wiring house. Cost was 2.4K approx. 2) Our Estate Casiana Grove, Cranbourne West they reckon is in a fire zone affect area. Our BAL rating was "BAL-LOW". We had to pay extra 6.3K approx to have house be rated at BAL-12.5 as per new legislation that came into effect as of 8th Sept 2011. Point 2 I intend on making a new thread to inform all new builder of this potential cost to help then budget their build. I hope this has helped anyone that is about to go to tender as well.
