Browse Forums Buying Land 1 Nov 12, 2024 7:33 pm Hi All, I am looking to buy a land to build my first home. I found this pit in the attached picture in one of the lands I am interested in a new land estate of Melbourne. Since I am new to this process, I have no clue what it is. I inquired this from the land developer sales office, but they confused me with identifying this as a sewerage pit first but then saying it is a storm water pit. This pit is not on the engineering document I received. Can you please help me to identify this pit? (Just without the concrete infill) You can always call the water company and ask someone what is in the nominated property? They will at least tell if it is sewerage or not. Good luck with your investigations! J Thanks for that, the PVC pipe is still about 40cm below ground level and it sticks out of the sand with no end cap or anything on it just open pipe, is this the finished… 2 24342 Anyone have any experience replacing a damaged council stormwater pit?
