Browse Forums Buying Land 1 Mar 20, 2022 6:03 pm Hi All, Would anyone happen to know what this new post on my unregistered land means? The white pole (circled red) and the fencing has only gone up in the past couple of weeks (land now due to register supposedly in May) For ease of reference, the 'boundary marker' is about 5m further back than this (circled blue) I use quotation marks for 'boundary marker' - because my plot is said to be 40m in depth - however walking from the front 'boundary marker' to the back 'boundary marker' it is roughly 30m instead. The land agent has reiterated my 40m is from the front to back 'boundary marker'. He told me this on site, as I asked to meet him there to confirm, as I was concerned because I stepped out and roughly measured the 30m between both markers, and by coincidence roughly 40m was from the back 'boundary marker' to the curb however. Has anyone experienced this before? Are the placement of these markers 100% correct initially? Or will they be checked at some point and moved again if deemed necessary?
