Browse Forums Buying Land 1 Oct 19, 2021 11:11 am Hello all, First of all, apologies. I understand this question has been asked gazillion times. I am looking to buy a block of land in the south east suburbs. The ones available in the size I want are either North facing, east facing or west facing.Would have preferred a south facing block so that I can have the living areas, back yard and master BR facing north. If I wish to go ahead with this purchase, what would be my best option? Thanks in advance. Re: Need advice on land orientation in Melbourne 2Oct 19, 2021 1:29 pm Either east facing or west facing, you will be able to design living areas facing north. If you will be using a volume builder, it just means that it might take you longer to find a suitable floor plan you like. Any architect or draft person would be able to draw a nice plan to suit your land orientation. Of all those options, I'd choose east facing myself. Yard and pool...very nice.
