Browse Forums Buying Land 1 Dec 27, 2017 10:10 am hi all, I want to get some advice on buying a block of land. I found a lot that I like - in Melbourne - Thornhill park. I am just wary of committing to this, as all is new to me. I included a link so if anyone knows area well or nearby that I'm NOT buying risky http://www.thornhillpark.com.au/investment this would be great. I read past posts regarding purchase of untitled block, and its very informative etc. for your information, the lot is a part of stage 23, and its selling like hotcake according to agent. It is expected to get tilted 1st quarter 2019. Re: Buying untilted block 2Jan 02, 2018 9:10 pm Hi we purchased land from at a different site from a different developer. My advice is look at if u have any easements, storm water drainage or sewerage drains going through ur property. Also expect delays - our release was delayed by 10 months! There’s nothing u can do about delays. Our land increased in value after being titled by nearly 70% which was amazing if we wanted to sell but of course we don’t! Good luck Yeah I don't know why I came to a forum. Place is full of wierdos/pedos thought internet may help but I suppose I'll try my luck with someone in person. Cheers. I tried… 0 6875 Yes it had a house on it. But Melbourne water only wanted something the original size of the existing house. We managed to fit a 45sq house on. 10 34377 4 4752 |
