We went to council and confirmed that they will consider a greater cut and fill of 500mm providing adjoining owners agree and the driveway gradient conforms. I assume that similar issues are going to crop up for those in that middle section of the estate where the slopes are much greater. I don't even properly understand the restrictions nor really what cut and fill is.. I mean, I assume it is talking about the amount soil you take from one side of the property and prop up on the other side of the property to make it level..
