Builders are not in a rush like us, itll take 6 months minimum to get through admin stage (my husband works for a building company who have 4 contracts for our development.) If sold to you as a land and home package may be quicker but just thought id warn those who dont fully understand the process. My solicitor said the developers solicitors office was closed until today so im sure we can expect to start hearing some good news regarding settlement soon, i cant bloody wait to get our land and get moving.. My husbands company were told that the fences would come down on the 9th which didnt happen as contractors werent back at work so hopefully this will happen this week as banks need to get in there to do valuations on the blocks. We have notice our block does not have a water meter installed which we are waiting to hear back about but thought id let you know so you can check your block out to make sure yours has it prior to settling. its all getting close to reality now.. so excited --------------- 6 months! Are you talking about the complete building phase including contracts, choosing bricks, paint, etc or the council approvals and the building part?
