I have an option to keep pool area and alfresco at same level as opposed to a 200mm drop on entry from alfresco to pool . Is it worthwhile doing this and what are the potential concerns e.g drainage or anything else ? Re: Finished level for pool and alfresco 2Oct 26, 2019 7:38 am I’m in the same boat. I’ve opted for. 200mm step down into the pool area. Purely as I don’t want water coming into the alfresco when I have a dozen people in the pool. I’m now thinking 200mm is probably too much and may change to 100mm. Somewhat similar to the threshold step coming into my house.
