Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Oct 24, 2018 2:36 pm Hey! We have had a pool installed in the back yard, and I'm in the process of installing a glass pool fence. The fence is to go along a retaining wall. I did have timber along the top of the wall, but when I installed the fence, the timber didn't stay put and bowed from the weight of the glass. So what I've done is removed the timber and am in the process of replacing it with RHS steel, which is 150mm by 50mm and is 4mm thick. I made the retaining wall using steel as a frame, so I'm welding this steel to the retaining wall. The pool fence will then go onto the steel. I'm hoping someone can offer a suggestion on how to fix the legs for the glass to the steel. I would prefer not to drill holes all the way through the RHS. Looking forward to your replies! I'm planning on fixing the fence posts tomorrow, but so far I've no idea how best to do it. I was hoping masonry bolts that flare out would work, but so far the ones that I have have failed testing.
