I think we need to be about 1m off the boundary but hoping someone might have an experience they could share. I have a pool off the back of my house and also had to get piers even being 1.5 from the house. You would have been notified . If it was complying development you wouldn't be notified .notified but pool needs to be 1m off boundary. You should ring the certifier .
