Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Aug 29, 2016 4:48 pm Hi There, We are considering installing a Fiberglass pool in Perth. We got quotations from Barrierreef pools, WA Fiberglass pools and Riverina pools. We are looking a mid size pool 7m x 6.5m (approx). Did go to few others but didnt like the response from them. Has any one installed pools from these three companies recently, Can any one please share their experiences. This will be our first pool so new to all this. Have been reading online forums and these three companies have got decent reviews. The price is comming around same range 24K to 26K. All the three companies are providing same equipment (sand filter, eQuilibrium Salt Chlorinator , Viron pump p320) all from Astralpools, pencil compaction, pool cover, roller. Reading online I have read that people have had quiet a few issues with this equipment, but then all the pool companies are providing this equipment. There is difference in terms of extra what you get from these companies. Riverina pools is including bullnosing, Barrierreef pool is including robotic cleaner. Can someone please share their experience. What all things to look for, in terms of plumbing, fitting, layout, installation steps. Cheers Re: Fiberglass pool installation in Perth recomendation. 2Sep 01, 2016 12:09 am Hi, we used Add a Splash pools, they were fantastic. We were originally going to go for fiberglass but a few things turned us off. Such as its lifespan and the black spot that can grow on it, plus running costs are higher. We had also heard a few horror stories from people who had used some of the bigger fibreglass companies. Pricing was about the same as fibreglass. Add a splash were great from start to finish, they are a family owned business so you deal with the owner and the staff are employees not contractors so we were really well looked after. Good luck! Re: Fiberglass pool installation in Perth recomendation. 3Sep 07, 2016 3:55 pm I used Riverina last year and they were very good from start to finish; well I havent finished yet as I need my build completed. Have a review of them on my timeline build thread. Re: Fiberglass pool installation in Perth recomendation. 4Sep 12, 2016 5:04 pm See my thread: My experience as a first time pool purchaser. (WA) viewtopic.php?f=65&t=72853 Used a cartridge filter, and 3 speed pump. No issue with either. Barracuda cleaner also been good. Wish I had added and extra line for dedicated vacuum. . Re: Fiberglass pool installation in Perth recomendation. 5Sep 12, 2016 11:22 pm We put a pool in last year with Sapphire Pools (Joondalup). No complaints here. I was also impressed with the sales service from Riverina Pools but their pool size wasn't quite as suitable as the one one that Sapphire had. It was pool size that made the decision for us in the end. Re: Fiberglass pool installation in Perth recomendation. 6Sep 30, 2016 9:56 pm We went with riverina and I'd happily recommend them.
