Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Jun 27, 2017 9:42 pm Has anyone had this installed? A pool company we're looking at going with is including "Waterco" products with our pool, but said for $1,000 extra they can upgrade it to the Theralux mineral system. It all sounded good as he described it to me (mineral water instead of chlorine, easier on the eyes and skin). Im trying to google prices but pool shops never have them on their websites so its proving tricky. I wonder if its too expensive and if I can upgrade myself later on for cheaper? I'm waiting on hearing back from Theralux (just emailed them for a quote). Thanks Re: Theralux mineral pool system 2Jul 04, 2017 7:03 am We have a mineral pool and I can highly recommend it. Just think of it as like swimming in fresh water. No aftersmell or burning of eyes. We have all waterco parts except for the chlorinator which is a different brand. Do you find it easy to manage? Re: Theralux mineral pool system 4Jul 05, 2017 8:03 am Yes amazingly so pools aren't too much work so long as you keep on top of regular maintenance. Our neighbors have big trees which lose a lot of leaves and this is the biggest issue. All the leaves fall in the pool and I'm constantly cleaning them.
